FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Project Introduction
This phase is the most crucial as we get to know you and your space and form some initial ideas about your design plan. It begins with a simple questionnaire, followed by an in-person or virtual consultation. If, after the consultation, we agree that our services are a good fit for your project, we send over a proposal and letter of agreement. Once approved, your project will begin! We'll ask you to fill out a home lifestyle questionnaire in order to understand your personal style, goal for the space, and overall likes/dislikes.
  • Planning
In this stage, we move from the conceptual to the technical as we gather measurements and other practical information. We begin mocking up early design concepts and have you weigh in on our initial thoughts on finishes, floor plans, and any millwork or construction.
  • Design Development
We will start building out a detailed 3D design with elevations, material selections, furnishings, textiles, and color palettes. When we feel we have a complete and cohesive concept to share, we present it to you for your approval. Your collaboration during this phase is incredibly important as the small tweaks made during planning is what makes a home truly feel like yours.
  • Project Management
Once the design has been approved, we move into executing it in real life. We oversee construction; liaise with trades, contractors, and vendors; source furnishings, artwork, materials, and accessories; and generally ensure that the process is moving forward on-time and within budget.
  • Installation
Once construction is complete, we take over your home to install your new furnishings and style your new space. When we're finished, your space is move-in ready, and we welcome you home for the big reveal. Afterward, we will provide you with all necessary information and warranties needed for your home, as well as address any further questions you may have.
