We recently had the incredible opportunity to design a vacation home for our clients in Charlotte, North Carolina. For this project, we wanted each room to have its own personality, while still incorporating that Italian charm that we showcased in the living room.
Coastal Elegance bedroom: For the Coastal Elegance bedroom, we stuck to a crisp blue and white color palette, and installed a sophisticated yet playful wallpaper. This bedroom is the perfect place to curl up and retreat from a long day of vacationing!
The Lemon Room: No Amalfi coast decor is complete without lemons, and this playful bedroom delivers just that. Featuring an emerald green headboard with plush designer bedding and pillows, you'll never want to leave this room! We kept the nightstands and lamps simple yet stylish- a crisp white color with antique brass hardware.
I always love incorporating a luggage rack and a full length mirror in each guest room I design. These little details make such a difference in a guest's experience!
Dolce Vita bedroom: For the Dolce Vita bedroom, we again followed the formula of creating one accent wall, and keeping the furnishings minimal. The floral wallpaper is such a bold, stunning choice and we really wanted the colors to pop. We used rattan table lamps to add in some texture and create visual interest. We also matched the blue curtains to the color of the headboard for a cohesive look.
Amalfi Charm bedroom:
For the Amalfi Charm bedroom, we used an Italian Tile wallpaper for authentic flair. Using a tufted blue headboard and traditional nightstands, we tried to replicate the beauty of Italian design. We rounded out the room with antique brass lamps, a complementary wool rug, and a cream chenille setee.
I hope you enjoyed reading more about the design process that went into creating these lovely bedrooms!
