Our clients have a lovely home in Kirkland, Washington, and asked us to help furnish their living room in a way that truly reflects their personalities. We landed on a neutral color palette anchored by rich wood tones and luxe velvet fabrics in a variety of traditional patterns.

To bring depth and visual interest, we played with contrast using the wall and trim paint colors—especially to highlight the fireplace as a central focal point. The clients owned a beautiful antique clock, which we knew would be the perfect piece to display above the mantel.

Vintage artwork and a marble chessboard completed the look, adding a sense of history and charm.
We’re thrilled with how the space came together, and even more so that our clients are now busy making memories in their beautifully curated living room.

Brass hardware throughout the space guides the eye and adds a warm, cohesive touch. While the clients wanted a television in the room, they didn’t want it to detract from the custom casework around the fireplace. We found the perfect solution by placing the TV in a corner and designing a custom cover to seamlessly integrate it into the space.
